Trent has been in the funeral service since 1990, and became a licensed Funeral Director and Embalmer in 1994. He has served as the Funeral Director and Funeral Home Manager here since August 2008. He enjoys being able to work with each family and give them the ability to select a funeral or cremation service that meets their personal needs and budget.
Trent graduated from Graham High School in 1988, Wilmington College in 1992 with Bachelor of Science Degree and the Cincinnati College of Mortuary Science in September 1993 with an Associate of Applied Science Degree in Mortuary Science. He has been an active member of the Christiansburg Volunteer Fire Department since 1985 where he has held many offices and served in many roles. He has coached over 20 of his kid's soccer and baseball teams since 2010, and has been on the board of the youth baseball association since 2014. He and his wife Angie live on a family farm, near where they both grew up, with their daughter Maelee and son Atley.
